About
The ISS Live Tracker is a single-page HTML application that uses Leaflet.js for mapping and fetches data from public APIs to display information about the ISS. It features a dynamic starfield background, a map showing the ISS's current location and a trailing path, and several HUD (Heads-Up Display) panels. These panels provide telemetry data such as latitude, longitude, altitude, and velocity. Additionally, it lists the names of astronauts currently aboard the ISS and their respective spacecraft. Users can optionally enable location sharing to see the straight-line distance to the ISS and receive updates on its next pass. The application uses CSS for styling and JavaScript for data fetching, DOM manipulation, and map interactions.
